What a treat to see George Clinton! I've been funkin to his grooves for some 25 years, and somehow this was my first opportunity to see The Mothership land. There had to be some twenty musicians, singers and dancers onstage, plus a dizzying array of crew...all together creating one fine platter of funkadelic groove. The pavilion was jammed up full of funkiness and the set must have lasted almost three hours. I'm saying you haven't lived till you've seen this show live!
